DEI Business Partner
GET FLEXIBLE SUPPORT FROM A PRO
Not every organization has enough in-house resources to drive their DEI strategy, and sometimes you just need another set of hands. I can join your team on a fractional basis to provide the right amount of support for your business needs.
GREAT FOR COMPANIES WHO:
Are relatively small and lack DEI expertise across the team
Have a reduced budget due to a temporary drop in revenue
Need the skills of a specialist for a particular project or time period
Have a solo DEI leader who needs help with strategy execution
Want to maintain momentum while hiring a new DEI leader
BREAKING DOWN THE TERMINOLOGY
Fractional refers to time allocation. Instead of going from 0 to 1 headcount, you bring on someone to work a fraction of a full-time commitment. This can be an arrangement like 20% (1 day a week) or 50% (20 hours a week).
Business Partner draws from the HR Business Partner model, a consultative role that helps different functions align their People practices with business goals.
Think part-time, but more strategic and responsive to business needs.
SAMPLE USE CASES
Your team experienced budget cuts but you still want to prioritize making progress with your DEI strategy.
You're a team of 50 and aren't quite ready to hire your first full-time DEI practitioner.
Your team currently lacks the bandwidth or expertise for a high-impact project that employees are asking for.
You have a DEI Council, DEI Task Force, or ERGs and they need ongoing strategic guidance and resources to stay on track.
Your most recent DEI leader is no longer with the company and you need interim support while backfilling the role.
You're building out new policies, processes, and programs and need regular input to ensure they're equitable and inclusive.
