WORK WITH A QUEER PEER
Your career should work for your actual life, and the strategy to get there should account for what makes your situation specific: your identity, your timeline, your needs, your definition of success. Let’s build something that honors who you are and what you need.

GREAT FOR LGBTQ+ PROFESSIONALS AND ALLIES WHO WANT TO:
Build a network strategically and sustainably, without it feeling extractive
Learn practical skills and frameworks they can apply long after our work together
Evaluate work opportunities through the lens of what they actually need
Plan career transitions that account for both personal and professional priorities
Highlight career growth, accomplishments, and impact in their application materials
Have meaningful conversations about career goals with peers, managers, and loved ones
MY STYLE & APPROACH
A lot of career advice treats everyone the same. I help LGBTQ+ professionals and allies build strategies that actually work for their lives by starting with what they need.
I bring calm to the chaos of career transitions, ask the questions that surface what’s actually going on, and help you find the throughlines in your experience. I believe most career decisions are better made from a grounded place than a reactive one, and a lot of what I do is help you slow down enough to choose well.
I was born and raised in a community with pervasive homophobia, so I recognize that every step forward is a conscious one. And that often means figuring out how to take risks in pursuit of better opportunities. Whenever you feel stuck, I see it as a chance to center your needs. You know yourself better than you think you do.

WHAT I BRING:
-
I understand how hiring works. I’m a former recruiting professional who’s reviewed resumes, worked with candidates, and implemented hiring practices at different companies.
-
I know how to vet employers and identify red flags. I’ve helped 20+ organizations establish inclusive workplace practices and can help you figure out what to look for.
-
I know how to chart a course. I have nearly a decade of strategic planning experience to help people identify goals and build action plans.
-
I bring frameworks you can use long after our work ends. I'll help you adopt tools and ways of thinking you’ll be able to flex again the next time something shifts.
-
My career has been nonlinear. I’ve made some major pivots and can speak from inside the experience of building something different.
